Requirements Engineer

Location: Puebla, Mexico

Contract: 6 months

Key Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate suppliers in terms of problem-solving analysis and solutions implementation effectiveness​.
• Evaluation of reports and findings generated by inspections with suppliers and categorize them​.
• Implement assessments to suppliers in the event of deviations from required standards​.
• Keep supplier’s performance by tracking actions and escalate if is needed.
• Assure KPI’s met expected targets.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, mechatronics, electromechanics, automotive design or related​.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry in quality, engineering and/or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and/or VDA standards (6.2 and 6.3)​
• Core tools (mainly FMEA)
• Technical knowledge of customer requirements (mainly German OEMs), handling of exterior parts, interior parts, manufacturing processes (injection molding and/or metal processing), supplier management, management of changes/ improvements and strong analysis for problem solving with specific tools (8 Disciplines methodology).
• English fluency necessary.
