CAD Engineer

Location: Puebla, Mexico

Key Responsibilities: 

• Independent creation of designs, assembly drawings, single part drawings, bill of materials for new and series production products​
• Perform technical calculations (strength, weight, package), simulations (kinematics) and organize complex technical calculations and interpret results​
• Manage PDM overview with existing systems and support the team with all CAD related activities.​
• Publish CAD in existing systems and maintain the integrity of data releases​
• Active participation in APQP meetings with overseas suppliers, formal and informal reviews​
• Maintain Engineering changes with overseas/local suppliers and maintain within existing established systems. projects.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Industrial engineering, mechatronics, automotive design or related ​2 to 5 years of experience inside the automotive industry in design, engineering and/or quality area

• Technical knowledge of customer requirements (mainly German OEMs), handling of exterior parts, manufacturing processes, supplier management, deviations, management of changes/ improvements inside the series production. vehicles.
